In 2008, the BHNFC once again participated in the Bangers & Cash fundraising event to support Cystic Fibrosis Victoria.

In one of the great acts of generosity within the VAFA community, the BHNFC raised $1901.  This equated to approximately 1/3 of the total raised by all VAFA clubs.  This was quite extraordinary as there are 73 clubs in total.

Well done to all the members and a special thanks to Proteus and Anthony "Tubers" Ryan for their generous donations.
